Bio
Tyler Green is an Associate Lawyer at Green and Spiegel LLP in Toronto. Tyler assists individual and corporate clients with all aspects of immigration law in Canada. This includes tourist and business visitor applications and all types of work permit applications, including intra-company transfers and work permits under various International Free Trade Agreements, such as CUSMA and CETA. Tyler also assists clients to overcome inadmissibility issues, including applications for criminal rehabilitation and temporary resident permits.
Tyler graduated from the Dual JD Program at the University of Windsor and University of Detroit Mercy, obtaining both his Canadian and American Juris Doctor Degrees. While in law school, Tyler worked at the immigration student clinic in Detroit, Michigan where he assisted in U.S. refugee applications. Tyler also earned membership in both the Justice Frank Murphy Honor Society and the Golden Key International Society during his time in law school. Tyler spent his 2022 summer at Green and Spiegel LLP as a Summer Law Student and returned to Green and Spiegel LLP as an Articling Student in 2023.
Tyler is a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2024 after completing his articles at Green and Spiegel LLP. Prior to law school, Tyler graduated with an Honours Business Administrative Degree at the University of Western Ontario, Richard Ivey School of Business.
