Jonathan Green is an Associate Lawyer at Green and Spiegel LLP in Toronto, where he advises individuals and businesses on a wide range of Canadian immigration matters. Jonathan’s corporate practice focuses on helping employers meet their workforce needs through strategic immigration solutions, including corporate transfers, work permits, federal skilled worker applications, investor immigration programs, and long-term workforce planning. Jonathan works closely with corporate clients on regulatory compliance matters related to the International Mobility Program and the Temporary Foreign Worker Program , helping businesses navigate Canada’s evolving immigration framework with confidence.

Jonathan also assists individuals and families seeking to make Canada their permanent home. He advises clients on permanent residence pathways, including Express Entry programs, Provincial Nominee Programs, and other economic and family-based immigration streams. Drawing on his broad understanding of Canada’s immigration system, Jonathan works with clients to develop strategic and practical pathways to permanent residence. His citizenship practice includes citizenship grants, citizenship by descent, and citizenship applications for adopted persons, helping clients secure and preserve their status in Canada.

Jonathan earned a combined Juris Doctor (J.D.) and Honours Business Administration (HBA) degree from the University of Western Ontario Faculty of Law and the Richard Ivey School of Business. His legal and business education provides him with a practical understanding of the challenges organizations face when operating in a global marketplace, allowing him to deliver strategic, business-focused immigration advice.

During his time at Western University, Jonathan was elected to the Board of Governors, where he contributed to the institution’s governance as a member of the Governance and By-Laws Committee.
