Allison Yum is an Associate Attorney in Green and Spiegel U.S.’s Philadelphia Office. Allison focuses primarily on corporate immigration for large multinational companies, preparing a full range of employment-based immigrant (EB-1, NIW) and nonimmigrant (H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN) petitions for corporate clients and their global workforce.
Prior to joining Green and Spiegel, Allison served as an Associate Counsel with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Office of the Chief Counsel, where she handled federal litigation and advised the agency on matters related to a humanitarian portfolio. Allison also served as an Immigration Services Officer, including as a subject matter expert, with the USCIS Vermont Service Center for five years. She brings her extensive experience and perspective as a USCIS attorney and adjudicator to her current practice.
Allison also previously worked as an immigration attorney and paralegal in several law firms in Vermont and the Philadelphia region, where she supported educational institutions, health systems, businesses, investors, athletes, and individual clients on a wide range of employment- and family-based case types, as well as applications for permanent residence, consular processing, and workplace immigration compliance.
Allison has lived and studied in China and South Korea, is involved in her local dance community, and is admitted to the Vermont Bar.
