Senior Associate Matthew Galati was recently elected by members of the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) to serve as its Secretary for the 2017-18 term. This will be Matt’s second term serving on the Chapter’s Executive Committee.

Matt’s election continues Green and Spiegel’s historic leadership role amongst the U.S. immigration attorney bar. Currently, U.S. Practice Director Jonathan Grode co-chairs the chapter’s Customs and Border Protection (CBP) liaison committee, working to resolve travel issues on behalf of the firm’s clients and those of fellow AILA members. He also serves as the Vice Chair of the AILA National Law Student Outreach committee. Associate Joshua Rolf co-chairs the same committee in the Philadelphia Chapter, developing young talent interested in a career in immigration law. In a similar vein, Senior Associate Dana Imperia is part of this year’s AILA conference committee Global Migration Section and formerly co-chaired the chapter’s New Members Division. Several other attorneys of the firm hold active committee roles within the organization on a local and national level.
