We are continuing our coverage of USCIS’ publishing of I-526 and I-829 performance data by Regional Center. These reports were panned by many stakeholders for including inaccurate information, and garnered industry-wide media attention. It appears that USCIS has received the message and, as of June 22, the data is no longer available on the USCIS web site. We appreciate the agency quickly removing this misleading information.
We had discussed earlier that CanAm Enterprises had publicly criticized the reports. First Pathway Partners, headed by its CEO and the President of IIUSA Robert Kraft, has also made a public statement:
Bob Kraft has had discussions with a number of regional centers throughout the United States, all of whom are reporting discrepancies in the record of approvals and denials, including our own.
FirstPathway Partners strongly supports USCIS transparency and disclosure of data and information to immigrant investor stakeholders. However, the dissemination of inaccurate records causes irreparable harm to both regional centers and stakeholders alike. As we work to bring positive economic change to communities throughout the United States, the ripple effect of flawed premature reporting causes negative ramifications on the integrity of the EB-5 program and participants for years to come.
