As of March 13, 2025, if you have a Canadian born grandparent, you may be eligible to apply to become a Canadian citizen. We are not sure whether this will be permanent, so if you have a Canadian born grandparent and you want the opportunity to become eligible for a Canadian passport, then you should apply now!
