March 15, 2016 – Immigration Minister John McCallum has said that he will look to reforming the current Express Entry system with a eye to helping international students. In overhauling the permanent residence application process and policies, the former Conservative government  made significant changes making the path to permanent residence nearly impossible for international students.

According to today’s Globe and Mail article, Evan Green, Senior Partner at Green and Spiegel, was quoted saying that “a few simple adjustments could make it easier for international students to settle in Canada”. To read the Globe and Mail article in its entirety, click here.
