Bio

Stephen Bayliss has practiced immigration law since 1998, handling complex immigration matters for a wide range of clients, including public universities, state agencies, private companies, and individuals. Steve’s practice spans the institutional and the personal. For universities and state agencies, he understands the compliance requirements, internal approval processes, and public accountability that come with government employment. Private employers rely on him to move talent where it’s needed on a realistic timeline. Individuals and families trust him with matters that shape their futures. Whatever the setting, his approach is strategic, practical, and collaborative: he gives clients a clear picture of their options, an honest assessment of risks and likely outcomes, and a plan built around their goals.

Before focusing on immigration law, Steve engaged in post-conviction habeas litigation in state and federal courts. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
